Christian Muschick

Christian Muschick began his career in strategy consulting, but switched to investment banking early on. As head of the financial services and insurance team and later as deputy head of research and COO of Silvia Quandt Research GmbH, he acquired a reputation as one of the leading German industry experts and supported a large number of companies in the implementation of capital market projects. In the private equity sector, he was a partner at Callista Private Equity, for which he managed deal sourcing and accompanied spin-off and restructuring projects in Germany and France.

DR. JOCHEN BRINKMANN

CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER / NAVIGATOR GROUP GERMANY

Dr Jochen Brinkmann can look back on many years of experience as a restructuring consultant and interim manager. He began his professional career in strategy consulting and specialised in the support of turnaround situations early on. In the past ten years, he has held management positions at LEK Consulting, Mazars Consulting, Roland Berger and hww Unternehmensberater, among others, with responsibility for restructuring and optimisation issues. For Westhelle & Partner he guided companies through tough adjustment processes in the insolvency environment. He was a member of the advisory board of ApolloProScreen KG and is a lecturer at the University of Nürtingen-Geislingen and the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein.

Garret Byrne

PARTNER / NAVIGATOR GROUP CZECH REPUBLIC

Garret Byrne is an experienced management consultant with a focus on corporate finance, M&A and due diligence. During the course of his consulting career, he has advised international private equity and corporate clients on their mergers and acquisitions as well as on financing in a wide variety of sectors. He was a partner for Central Europe at the consulting firm Deloitte for eleven years, where he built up the M&A transaction business with a focus on private equity. At Arthur Andersen he worked as a senior manager with a similar focus, and he also worked for EY as an auditor.

Maksim Mihajlov

Associate / Private Equity

Maksim Mihajlov joined the Navigator team in 2019. He holds a master’s degree in business law from the University of Nürtingen-Geislingen with a focus on restructuring and insolvency administration.

He operated with an industry focus on „Automotive and Mobility“ during the last years and has worked in the field of Controlling/Finance both for major german OEM’s (Audi AG and Daimler AG) as well as 3rd tier suppliers. Thus, he is familiar with the challenges of different company sizes within a supply chain. This experience helps him to advise and operate hands-on within complex change management projects and adaptation processes.

Moritz Stachelhaus

Associate

Moritz Stachelhaus initially joined the team of Navigator in 2017 as a working student and eventually became an associate in 2018. He holds a degree (German diploma) in business administration from Technical University of Munich (TUM) with study-focus on controlling, asset management & capital markets and mechanical engineering (minor subject) as well as a master’s degree (LL.M.) in business law from Nuertingen-Geislingen University (HFWU) with study focus on corporate restructuring and (Germany) insolvency law. 

Prior to joining Navigator, he was a junior business consultant and project manager at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, working with clients in the financial services industry.
